8.26.14 Dedication – Evan

As mom would say “he is so cute, could just sop him up with a biscuit!” Weird saying!! But it is true, he is sooo caaa-ute! (another mom-ism)

Evan Putman turned 3 on 5/27/14. He is a beautiful little guy with a heart to match. He loves music and playing with his trains and building monkey towers. He is the light of the Putman Family’s lives.

Evan’s Dad, Todd, posted a comment that I want to share here…BIG BIG NEWS FOR EVAN!!! ” As Evan’s dad, I couldn’t be more proud to see him on the blog today. In bike-related news, he just got his first non-plastic “bike” (ok it’s a trike) and enjoys being pushed all around on it. His little feet are starting to cycle with the pedals. “Want to take a bike ride” has become his rallying cry.” I wish we lived closer, Dan and I would definitely go for a ride with him!

He is also pictured with Eric. Eric has a pizza cart business in Portland Maine and Evan went to see him one day.

  1. Thank you SO much for dedicating your day to Evan! Our whole family follows your journey and we are humbled to be a small part of it. Thank you and keep up the awesome job!

  2. A few of my favorite inspirational figures in one post!

    1. As Evan’s dad, I couldn’t be more proud to see him on the blog today. In bike-related news, he just got his first non-plastic “bike” (ok it’s a trike) and enjoys being pushed all around on it. His little feet are starting to cycle with the pedals. “Want to take a bike ride” has become his rallying cry.

    2. I can’t say enough about how much every stride and pedal stroke of Kevin (and Dan now and Kori back in May) means to us. I’m equal parts jealous and proud of you guys! Thanks for letting us all live this trip vicariously with you through your stories and images.

    3. Eric of Eric’s Pizza Express. While on vacation last week we had the honor of meeting Eric at his business. What a rock star! His dedication to supplying a great product and offering even better customer service combine to make him a successful small business owner. It doesn’t hurt either that, in my wife’s words, “He’s soooo handsome!” He’s a true triple threat!

Keep on keeping on you inspirational guys!!!

    1. Thanks Todd. Do you have a video of Evan riding his new bike? I would love to post that!! The only way I can share it on the blog is if it is on you tube though, this website does not have the storage capability to “house” it. I can upload it on my account and keep his name anonymous. Understanding privacy on you tube especially is essential!
